This website was designed to serve as both a branded marketing website and an educational portal for Adamed's new product, colpexin. The Colpexin Sphere is a non-surgical treatment for pelvic organ prolapse, a condition effecting women of all ages, but prevalent in pre-menopausal women. It was important to the client to have the website reflect the simplicity of design of their product as well as support the vast amount of information about pelvic organ prolapse available on the website. It was also a concern that the website be easy to navigate for the lay-person searching for information about non-surgical solutions to pelvic organ prolapse.
Working directly with the client, goals, budget, information architecture and priority of brand message where easy to identify. Through direct client interaction, product messaging was honed and more attention was eventually focused on health care professionals and their need for product information and utility. To address this, the healthcare professional section was modified with more interactive learning tools and a more clinically written explanation of the colpexin sphere benefits.
This standards compliant website is created using XHTML, CSS and PHP. Flash is used for educational and demonstration videos as well as interactive animations. The interior pages are optimized for high natural search results. Making use of the same strategy, the glossary was written in multiple components to pull results from each word that might be queried in association to colpexin and the condition it treats.
